Coca-Cola Enterprises and Southeast Site Services lead recycling effort

Coca-Cola Enterprises and SE Site Services are once again leading Buckhead Baseball's sustainability initiative by offering recycling throughout Frankie Allen Park. Please use the green recycling containers located all over the park to place your plastic bottles, aluminum cans, and styrofoam/paper cups. Let's all work together to insure all recyclable materials from the dugouts, the concession stand, and around the park make it into the recycling containers. Go to article

USGBC Georgia Chapter Partners with Atlanta Dogwood Festival

USGBC Georgia Chapter partners with Atlanta Dogwood Festival to encourage sustainability. Southeast Site Services did a phenomenal job of keeping seperate haul offs for landfill, compost and recycling - with their team going 'above and beyond' when they dumpster dove to keep the compost clean. In the end, these efforts diverted 43% of the solid waste from the landfill, sending 14.5 tons of clean compost to Greenco Commercial Composting, 10.5 tons of recycling to SP Recycling Company... Southeast Site Services provided event management and cleanup services for the 2010 Atlanta Dogwood Festival, which won the Best Green Component of the Year, awarded by the Southeast Festivals and Events Association. Polishing up the outdoor throne

Christine Sweeney, a 37-year-old Atlanta mom and former corporate sales executive looking to start her own company, saw the problem as a business opportunity. Her startup, Atlanta Watercloset, is now a year old and building buzz. "I realized there was nothing between a restroom and a Porta-Potty," she said. Many outdoor toilet companies focus on serving the construction industry, which doesn't demand fresh flowers or scented soaps, or large outdoor events. Some offer upscale potties, but they don't emphasize the service. "She has a nice niche, said Rob Adams, president of Southeast Site Services, which provides recycling, composting, venue cleanup, and portable restrooms for events including this weekend's Atlanta Dogwood Festival.
